It ruined my childhood. For weeks I kept buying Dairy Milk bars with my meagre pocket money purely to see if I could break off one chunk, leaving one next to it, like they did in the ad. I still have nightmares about it. It's also worth noting that while Cadbury's chocolate is made under licence by Hershey's, it's not as good as the stuff you get in the UK. So there's a surprisingly large market for imported Cadbury's chocolate--usually from the UK or South Africa. Oh I remember this bloody advert. It ruined my childhood.
