Advert for Sekonda Watches from the 80s featuring Harry Enfield.

Sekonda is a British distributor of fashion wristwatches. Sekonda is the best-selling watch brand in the United Kingdom.

Originally a company which marketed Soviet-made times pieces in the West, Sekonda’s Soviet ties ended with the break-up of the USSR. Most Soviet-era Sekondas were re-badged Poljot and Raketa models produced respectively by the First Moscow Watch Factory and the Petrodvorets Watch Factory.

Since 1993, the company has imported its products from factories in Asia, as it no longer has ties with the Russian Producers. Since 2004 the First Moscow Watch Factory is not producing anymore, though the Petrodvorets Watch Factory is still producing the Raketa watches

Sekonda also markets watches under the sub-brand SEKSY for Ladies Fashion, ONE for men’s fashion and Xpose for rugged outdoor lifestyles of either gender.
