COVERGIRL is an American cosmetics brand founded in 1909 in Maryland, by the Noxzema Chemical Company (later called Noxell) and acquired by Procter & Gamble in 1989. The Noxell Company advertised this cosmetics line by allowing “cover girls,” fashion models who appear on the front cover of ladies’ magazines, to wear its products.

John Harvey & Sons is a wine merchant, started by John Harvey in Bristol, England in 1796, and specializing in importing Spanish and Portuguese wines. During the 1860s and 1880s, in the company’s cellars John Harvey II (son of John Harvey) and his brother Edward Harvey developed the world’s first cream Sherry now known as Harvey’s Bristol Cream. The blend starts with wines from fifty different soleras, including three Sherry types: Fino, Amontillado, and Oloroso. Finally some Pedro Ximénez wine is added for sweetness, and for the richness and creaminess that is the hallmark of the style.
Esso is an international trade name for ExxonMobil and its related companies. Pronounced /ˈɛsoʊ/ (“S-O”), it is derived from the initials of the pre-1911 Standard Oil, and as such became the focus of much litigation and regulatory restriction in the United States. In 1973, it was largely replaced in the U.S. by the Exxon brand, while Esso remained widely used elsewhere. In most of the world, the Esso brand and the Mobil brand are the primary brand names of ExxonMobil, with the Exxon brand name still in use only in the United States alongside Mobil.
